What do I need to bring..?

Great question! Whatever gear you need to play the games you want to play.  Players are required to bring their own gear and complete setups, minus a few items (ie: speakers, GIANT monitors, etc).  Whether it be your PC gaming rig, monitor, keyboard, and super mouse; TV and console, board games, card games, dungeon master guide, etc.; just bring it.  We will be having some other special surprises set up for communal use to take turns on, but your dedicated gear is your responsibility. We will provide you with the chair, table, power, and network. If you prefer to bring your own gaming chair instead of using our standard stack chairs, please do so.

Section 2. install before arrival…

1) The Classics (optional)

Just about everyone pulls these games out from time to time. Don’t deny it… you know you do. Have them FULLY INSTALLED and FULLY PATCHED BEFORE arriving to any event. This is just proper LAN play etiquette; don’t want to have everyone saturating the pipe with update downloads, now do we?

Video Streaming

If you are streaming for your own purposes, this section is not for you.

If you wish to be one of the 7 VIP connected to our TriCaster Stream, keep reading.

The following is a list of requirements for the handful of gamers (First 7 to occupy the seats) that wish to be directly connected to our TriCaster for streaming to our main video feed.  Everyone else will still have an opportunity to be part of the video stream, but will have a bit of a delay.  Audio will be shared via a mini to RCA adapter and splitter where required.  Spots are limited, and will be first come first serve.  Details below.

Chapter 4. Web Streamers

Supply our in-house broadcaster with the URL to your  stream, by filling out this form and we will re-broadcast it mixed in with our stream transitions.

Chapter 5. Direct Connect Streamers

 (Seven Slots Available)

Section 1. PC Gamers for Stream

If you wish to be one of the seven local Gamers to clone your video directly to our video feed, your video card will have to have the following.

  • Secondary DVI output
  • Secondary HDMI output (with HDMI to DVI adapter/cable)
  • audio from analog soundcard (HDMI and USB sounds will not work if you want your sound to the streamer)

Must have video card that supports dual-monitors with DVI or VGA connectors.   Set your graphics card to “Clone” mode in windows and we will use your 2nd VGA/DVI connector to feed the Tricaster. Your cloned output will need to be 1080p (1920×1080).

Section 2. Console Gamers for Stream

Resolution can be up to be 1080p (HDMI to DVI adapter) from the console.
